Made with the fermented sap of the blue agave plant, tequila is produced in and around the town of Tequila in Mexico’s Jalisco province.
Tequila is rich in a history far beyond the popular Margarita. Originally used during rituals beginning 2,000 years ago, tequila has evolved into the potent spirit we drink today and in recent years has transcended a quality we could not imagine a few decades ago.
The Manhattan Waterfront Greenway was first designed by the New York City Department of City Planning in 1993. Since then, the City has constructed a 32 mile route that navigates Manhattan. There are still segments missing from the route. The NYC Department of City Planning has waterfront planning goals for 2018.
