The TAJ Hotel in Boston. MA, USA.

Boston is such a lovely city. The Europeans will feel home in this charming and convenient city. There is a lot to do and a lot to see and visit. We arrived with no hotel room reservation. No problem, there are so many hotel there. But we decided to stop and check if they had rooms available at the TAJ, and at what price. The building was looking so charming.

The first member of staff you see soon you arrive is the Doorman. We received such a warm and pleasant “Welcome” from him that soon there, we knew we would stay at the TAJ Hotel Boston. At the reception, and with always a smile, the best deal was offered to us. So much better than the prices in New York.

Taj Boston, the Crown Jewel of Boston Hotels, occupies the city’s most prestigious address at Arlington and Newbury Streets. Renowned for its classic style and award-winning service, this 1927 landmark hotel overlooks the picturesque Public Garden with swan boat rides and the Boston Common’s ice-skating at Frog Pond. Surrounded by art galleries, boutiques and restaurants, Hermes is at the corner… The hotel is ideally located near the Theatre District, historic sites, shopping at Copley Place and the Hynes Convention Center.

Our room was not at the time, renovated. However it was very nice and the large bathroom was so well equipped. We had a wonderful view over the park. We did not try the restaurant, but the quality of the room service breakfast was really high level.

This iconic building underwent a nearly complete restoration in 2002 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Its prized collection of art and antiques is on display throughout the hotel and flowers are everywhere.

A beautiful stay in a beautiful hotel with great staff.
